Chapter Leadership

The Idaho (ISC)2 Chapter is governed by volunteers annually elected by the membership. These elections typically occur in the January. Officers meet almost weekly to direct the activities of the chapter.

President - Wade Cornelison

Wade Cornelison

Wade Cornelison is a certified technician and holds multiple IT related certifications such as CISSP, A+, NET+, SEC+. Wade is native to South East Idaho where he was raised working on his family's potato farm. After many years in the field and getting his hands dirty he worked his way up to a position as production and systems administrator for High Country Potato.

Wade has always had a keen interest in technology and in 2003 he left the family business to start a computer repair shop. Looking to further his knowledge and experience Wade joined the US Navy in 2006 as a rated IT. After his  service in the military Wade and his family settled back in to rural Idaho where he has been successfully running his IT administration and office systems business for over a decade.

Treasurer - Donovan Nichols

Donovan works at Idaho National Laboratory as a Control Systems Cybersecurity Engineer where he has worked with DHS Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency performing assessments of critical infrastructure. Previously he was an assessor with FAA performing accreditation assessments of various federal systems. Donovan has the CISSP and CAP credentials with (ISC)2 and held the GIAC Response and Industrial Defense certification as well. His professional interests are in control systems, network security and analysis, and sometimes programming.

Outside of work, Donovan enjoys online gaming to include EverQuest 2, Stellaris, Diablo, and Assassin's Creed; and getting away from all the cyber with hiking, fishing and camping. Donovan has been a part of Idaho's Cyber Community since returning to Idaho in 2013, forming the (ISC)2 Idaho Chapter, and assisting with the local BSides Community.

Membership Chair - Jennifer O'Sullivan

Jennifer O'Sullivan was raised in Hawaii, attended high school in Arizona, and graduating college at Idaho Statue University in Pocatello with a degree in Health Care Administration.  In college, she learned about computers and Lotus 123, the fabulous IBM XT, and wonderful black and green screens.

Jennifer started at the Idaho National Laboratory with MK-Ferguson were she started working on Department of Energy's first cybersecurity program, Computer Protection Program.  The biggest concern was then was back-ups.  Jennifer worked her way through IT support for finance, system administration, DMZ system security, cybersecurity and currently training.  She has worked 27 of her 33 years at INL in cybersecurity related jobs.  Now she is teaching others about applying cybersecurity and looking forward to retirement.

Secretary - Dr. Shane Stailey

Shane Stailey is a Senior Industrial Control Systems Cybersecurity Professional with three decades of success in learning, teaching, broadening, and applying information across multiple business streams with a spectrum of technical variety.  Shane specializes in combining creative thinking, outside the box analysis, and practitioner level application to solve real world problems.  As a 1st generation Master’s and Doctoral level educated professional he is well aware of the value that can come from merging ‘pure work’, ‘consistent learning’, and ‘determined perseverance’, despite life’s adversities, to reach professional and personal goals and accomplishments.
