(ISC)2 Idaho Chapter

About Us

The (ISC)2 Idaho Chapter was officially chartered on July 2, 2018 by (ISC)2 with the mission to inspire a safe and secure cyber world in our local community. The chapter provides members and other security professionals with the opportunity to share knowledge, grow professionally, raise security awareness and advance information security in local communities within Idaho.

The chapter provides a venue to interested individuals to collaborate and network with others. Educators and students can meet with businesses and professionals. The chapter aims to provide a path for those interested in cyber security to meet and learn from professionals in the field, and for employers to establish an inroad for interns and new talent.

We are a nonprofit organization run by an annually elected board of officers. (ISC)2 Idaho Chapter officers meet weekly and the membership has regular activities including chapter meetings throughout the year. Membership is open to everyone interested that agrees to and abides by our code of ethics. We do not require anyone to hold an (ISC)2 credential. The chapter requires members to pay annual dues to support the chapter and its activities, but we also accept sponsor donations. Dues are $20 a year.

Discounted student memberships are available, please contact our Membership Chair for details.
